Hosting Policy
This policy explains what Pinnacle-managed hosting includes and where client-owned domains, third-party providers, payments, and outside outages remain outside Pinnacle control.
Managed hosting scope
Pinnacle-managed hosting may include website deployment, SSL support, availability monitoring, backups, basic maintenance, content update support based on plan level, and direct support for hosting-side issues.
SSL, monitoring, backups, and updates
Pinnacle keeps SSL and basic maintenance handled for hosted websites, monitors availability, maintains backup or rollback support where applicable, and handles updates based on the hosting plan and request scope.
Uptime target and exclusions
Pinnacle targets 99.9% uptime for Pinnacle-managed hosting. This is a target, not a promise of instant or uninterrupted service. It excludes planned maintenance, third-party provider outages, DNS/provider issues outside Pinnacle control, client domain or payment issues, force majeure events, and client-caused misconfiguration.
Planned maintenance
Planned maintenance is performed when needed for security, stability, updates, migration, or performance. Pinnacle communicates planned maintenance when it is expected to affect normal public availability or client workflows.
Domains and third-party providers
Clients remain responsible for client-owned domains, registrar accounts, domain renewals, DNS records outside Pinnacle control, third-party subscription payments, and any provider policies connected to those services.
Suspension
Hosting may be suspended for nonpayment, abusive use, security risk, illegal or malicious activity, spam, or behavior that threatens the reliability of Pinnacle systems or other clients.
